#125 Stories : Agatha Christie social media campaign

 

 

Agatha Christie's #125 Stories campaign spanned Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Agatha Christie, was featured in the Sunday Times and accrued nearly 100 stories per day in the first month.

 

Inspired by archival fan letters kept by the Christie family, the campaign asked the public to submit their stories of Christie and her writings. Play Nicely's responsive HTML5 site then made these archival letters available to the public, utilising the TwineSocial API to gather the contemporary stories submitted with the #125 stories hashtag.

 

Viewers could also submit their own story through the site and browse photos, videos and writings submitted by other fans.
