The Royal Opera House approached us to provide a glimpse into the demanding world of their world-renowned orchestra as they prepared for a performance. The result was a unique and detailed online tool for audiences to create thier own journey through a range of synced perspectives.
Play Nicely were granted exclusive access to a rehearsal session, installing 31 individual Go-Pro cameras within the confines of the orchestra pit. Cameras were attached to both individuals and their instruments to provide the audience with a previously unseen perspective on how the orchestra works in isolation and as a whole. At the heart of the experience is an immersive 360 video, capturing all of the grandeur and beauty of one of London's landmark buildings.
Lastly an intuitive online interface was created to showcase the footage and allow individual edits of the full rehearsal.
